🎨 Fan Art & Design Submission Policy

Applies to: All submissions sent to Phunderful Apparel

We love your creativity — and we’re honored you want to contribute to the world of Phunderful. This Submission Policy outlines how fan art and design submissions are handled, including usage, ownership, and compensation.

By submitting any artwork or ideas to Phunderful Apparel, you agree to the following terms:

🧑‍🎨 1. You Must Be the Original Creator

You confirm that your submission is your original work — not copied, traced, or AI-generated from someone else’s design.
You understand that submitting someone else's work (even edited) violates this policy and may result in removal or legal action.

🛠️ 2. What We Can Do With Your Submission

By submitting artwork, you grant Phunderful Apparel a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

Use, print, modify, and sell the artwork on clothing and other products
Promote your design on our website, social media, and email campaigns
Alter it for formatting, color, or merchandising purposes

This license is non-exclusive, meaning you still own your design and can use it elsewhere if you want — we’re just getting permission to use it too.

💰 3. Compensation & Credit

We may offer one or more of the following:

A free shirt or product featuring your design
Public credit on our site and/or socials (using your name or @handle)
Financial compensation (to be discussed before commercial use)

No compensation is guaranteed unless we explicitly agree in writing before your design is used for profit.

🔒 4. Ownership & Copyright

You retain ownership of your original design, but by submitting it you agree:

Not to submit anything you don’t have full rights to
That Phunderful Apparel is not liable for copyright disputes if you falsely claimed ownership

We reserve the right to reject or remove any submission for any reason.

🧼 5. Keep It Clean

Please don’t submit:

Inappropriate, hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content
Logos or artwork featuring copyrighted material (like other brands, characters, or celebrities)

We’re building a positive community — keep it fun and original.

🔐 Optional Ownership Transfer

If we decide to trademark or build a product line around your submission, we may contact you to offer a paid ownership transfer. This allows us to fully develop the character as part of the Phunderful universe and protects both sides legally.
